We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, whose intent is to support native plant conservation and restoration of native plant gathering traditions for Pacific Northwest tribes, Native American plant conservation and traditional cultural plant species
Kathy Lynn has coordinated the Pacific Northwest Tribal Climate Change Project since 2010. The TCCP began as a collaborative project within the University of Oregonβs Environmental Studies Program and has had support from numerous entities over the years, including the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians, the USDA Forest Service Pacific Northwest Research Station, the Environmental Protection Agency Region 10, the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals, among others. Kathy has a courtesy appointment with the University of Oregonβs Environmental Studies Program and is thrilled to be a part of the L.I.G.H.T. Foundation as a pathway to continuing to facilitate the PNW Tribal Climate Change Project. Kathy has a Masters degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Haiti from 1996 to 1999. She lives in Eugene, Oregon with her family.
